AIESEC is an international not-for profit organisation that provides students with leadership training and internship opportunities at for-profit and non-profit organisations. AIESEC has been facilitating youth leadership activities as well as international internships and volunteer experiences for over 65 years, developing a global learning environment across 124 countries and territories.

PATT is proud to have been a partner of AIESEC Thailand since 2008, welcoming interns from across the world looking for new opportunities and experience in the environmental sector.

Take a look at some of our former interns and what they have to say about working with PATT! If you are a current university student, or just graduated – contact your local AIESEC chapter!

My name is Eric Githinji Charchi from Nairobi, Kenya. I had the privilege of being an international intern at Plant A Tree Today Foundation (PATT Foundation). I was an Web Developer / IT Technician from July 2010 – July 2011 (one year).

In that time I got to learn about the effects of deforestation on our environment and about the importance of living sustainably. Furthermore, I got to interact and work with people from all walks of life and cultures in the melting pot that is Bangkok, Thailand. Professionally I gained valuable experience in my areas of expertise. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I would advise anybody considering going to Thailand or South East Asia to sign up for the PATT Foundation’s Internship Programme

Eric Charchi – Kenya

“Interning at Plant a Tree Today Foundation through AIESEC provided me with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a field that is tough to break into and learn about adapting to another working culture. Working at PATT has opened up my network and allowed me to meet with environmental professionals from around the world, while conducting meaningful work. It was a fantastic opportunity to be a part of and it has given me enduring memories.”
