23-24 June 2014 – Round Square Week with the Regents IS!

Twenty students from the Regents IS, Bangkok joined with PATT to visit Bang Pu Mangrove Seaside Center to plant 175 mangrove trees to combat climate change and save the world as well as to service the community.

The activities were nature walk to understand the importance of mangrove as the filter of all pollutants and garbage from city and industrial estate in Bang Pu to not pollute the sea. Apart from absorbing Carbon Dioxide, mangrove itself helps to protect the coastline from storm surge and tsunami.
