"Happy February with full of love and to celebrate Chinese New Year!! "

Lungs of Bangkok Aided by Young Wells Students

Location: Suansri Park, Phra Pradaeng, Thailand
Date: 15th December 2014
No. of trees planted: 40 Trees

PATT’s latest educational outing was a stones-throw from central Bangkok in Suansri Park, just across the Chao Phraya River. The 31 students were from grade 4 at Wells International School of Bangkok, and were full of questions and enthusiasm as they ventured around the park.

Most students loved the potting activity, getting their hands dirty transferring small Rosewood and Pongpong seedlings to larger pots, where they can continue to grow in the safety of the tree nursery. They kept their eyes open for Monitor Lizards on their nature trail, and occasionally had to run away from some angry ants. The day was concluded with tree planting, and some of the students beaming faces can be seen below. The kids loved their field trip and didn’t want to leave, but the classroom was calling, so they’ll just have to return again soon!
